What is hot foil stamping? Open
Hot foil stamping is a decorative finish in the printing process of a print product. High-gloss films are pressed through pressure and heat onto a print material. This way, designs and texts from a minimal line thickness of 3 pt (1.06 mm) are especially highlighted and give the print product a shiny appearance.
Embossed printing deforms the paper coating. The foil design can leave behind a slight impression on the reverse side.
