What is the difference between partial varnish and 3D varnish?  Open

For the partial varnish only a specific area, e.g. the logo is finished with a flat, smooth varnish and therefore highlights a design element through high gloss.

A 3D varnish emphasizes this remarkable effect once more. Partial designs and fonts are displayed in a three-dimensional way through the raised varnish layer, which makes your product feel vivid. The varnish texture especially comes into one’s own in large surface designs. Fine lines and elegant details can not be printed with such a high raised varnish layer, but still stand out more than unfinished areas. The stress at the varnished area increases when cutting, which results in a deformed paper line. The varnish design can leave behind a slight impression on the reverse side.
