What kinds of finishes are available? Open
A real treat for the eyes are special finishes, which do not only improve the appearance, but also the feel of your print products. Highlight a specific detail or your whole design with the help of different techniques and transform your advertisements into real eye-catchers!
- UV varnish: Surfaces finished with UV varnish are smooth to the touch, like the surface of a mirror. The high-quality gloss provides additional attention and strengthens at the same time the colour on the applied areas. UV varnish can be used partially or for the whole design. Through this varnish two senses are addressed at once - the sight and touch. Consequently, your message will perfectly remain in the minds of your customers.
- 3D varnish: This partial UV varnish is applied in a much thicker layer than the usual UV varnish. It gives your images, texts or graphics a texture and three-dimensionality. Use papers with a grammage from 300 gsm for the best results. The varnished area should be at least 1 cm². For texts we recommend a font size of at least 12 pt. Positive lines with 3D varnish should be at least 3 pt.
- Hot foil: Finishes with hot foil transform your print products into real gems. Whether in silver, gold, copper or with hologram film film? The highly glossy effect of the characteristic metallic colour gives your paper (ideally offset papers or black card) an exclusive touch. Please add a full-tone colour for the design that you want to finish. During the production process the design will be highlighted in a glossy way through the application of the hot foil.
- Special colours: Even special colours in gold or silver can make your advertisement material shine. Then, the special colours are fixed with a dispersion varnish and with that permanently anchored on your print product.
- Letterpress printing: The single-sided deep embossing (letterpress printing) is available for numerous paper types. It gives your advertising material an additional great feel and can be used for individual image elements, graphics or text.
