What types of folds are there? Open
You have much to say and a simple flyer does not suffice? No problem. Folded leaflets with different fold types offer you enough space on many sides for all information. Your advertisement medium is at the same time compact enough to comfortably keep it in trouser pockets, jacket pockets or handbags. Your fold type depends on your desired application.
- Single fold: When a sheet of paper is folded once in the centre, the fold is called single fold. The fold creates a folded finished format with four pages.
- Gate fold: For the gate fold the outer sides of the paper sheet are folded towards the center without overlapping. This way, your advertisement product opens up like a double door.
- Cross fold: For the cross fold the sheet of paper is folded in an alternating way horizontally and vertically at a right angle. Your print product opens up like a classic newspaper.
- Roll fold: The roll fold paper sheet is folded parallel to each other in the same direction. The name comes from the ?rolling up? of the folded finished format.
- Z-fold: For the Z-fold, a type of trifold, the paper sheet is folded parallel to each other at equal distances. The fold alternates to the opposite direction after each fold.
- Special fold: May we suggest something special? Whether step fold, square fold, pyramid fold or artistically designed pocketplanner? Special folds are as diverse as their users. Reach out to our experts at FLYERALARM and they will consult you and give you expert advice.
