When binding magazines using saddle stitching and loop binding, the paper’s thickness can cause so-called binding displacement. This causes the content pages of the magazine to “slip” ever further forward as the number of pages increases. In order to compensate a displacement of the layout to the outside, we scale the data slightly out of proportion.
